Fifth Avenue Building HIstory | Fifth Avenue Syndicate

Art Deco Architecture

A Classic Example

The Fifth Avenue Building, constructed in 1927, was an “L” shaped brick two part vertical block. Raised pilasters separate the eight-story buildings numerous windows into groups of two and are capped at the roofline with geometric motifs embellished in ornate colored terracotta tile. The main lobby on Fifth Avenue has classic Art Deco features, and the 17th street entrance is notable for its elaborate mosaic pattern over the doorway.

"Had a great time at the Syndicate! Very beautiful and upscale without feeling uninvited. Love the menu on a "newspaper" with the history of the building. Our server Kayla was happy which makes the drinks and food taste even better!"

"Visited for the first time tonight and had a great experience! Our server Taylor was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Our service was wonderful and I definitely plan on coming back in the future!"

"In today's world of mediocre service, this place rises above. The food and drinks were on point. We'll be back if we visit the area again."

"This restaurant is SOOO relaxing to come into, such a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. The food is to die for and not to mention their drinks are ABSOLUTELY to die for. Shout out to Trey for being the best in the QC."
